Thanks a lot for the great website and the resources included. I recently came across it when I was looking for saw handle shape ideas. I have never made a saw handle and I’m also new to saw sharpening.
But I’m not new to woodworking. I worked as a high-end finish carpenter in the SF East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley, CA) for over 20 years. Now, as I got older, I have a desk job, but I have a shop and enjoy working with wood. Now, that no-one is watching over me, I work with hand tools only – no electricity.

I really have to say, I found your sharpening explanation and the saw handle process explained really well and, honestly, much better than the explanations from some of the famous woodworkers.
