How it started

A while ago, about 5 years, I started woodworking and built a workbench. I started to gather tools from here and there, mostly second hands to restore to function and beauty. There were planes, chisels, layout tools and.. Saws.

I had my plane period learning all about them and getting them to work well, but when it comes to saws I never got out of the phase. Mainly because there is so much to restoring them and I just couldn’t give up. If you ever bought a beautiful antique saw and went through learning how to sharpen them and it still wouldn’t cut well…well that happened more than once and gradually I discovered many things that could be improved upon. However, sometimes you do get such a saw that is still quite straight and works well, that’s great!
